As a Software Engineer, I spent the first 15 years of my career designing, developing and testing underseas targeting software for the defense industry. I worked in various capacities for large defense oriented companies such as Raytheon, GE, Unisys and others.
After adding an MS in Information Systems to my existing BA in Computer Science, I ventured out into the private sector... and loved it. Private sector business moves so much faster than Government work. Seeing the possibilities and recognizing the needs, I founded B2BGateway as a startup software company in 1999. I planned to grow the company at a manageable rate, to avoid over selling and under delivering.
After about 10 years of continued growth at B2BGateway, I decided to go back to school for a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), so that I would be better suited to run the company that I founded. This year is the 20 anniversary of B2BGateway and it is still fun. When it is no longer fun, I'll do something else.
